would be wanted to remain, it is an exceptional cottage with
every type of comfort and the owner it is an unique person,
very better of the nearby. We wish you so much fortune to

“I stayed at "Nathans Holiday Home" for around 2 and half months. The house is very clean, and has everything in it that you could possibly need. A very relaxing and comfortable place to be. The owners went out of their way to make sure I had everything that I needed, and were available to answer any questions I had. The local shops are around 2 minutes walk and have all your daily needs. Also located in a very quiet street away fro m the hassle and bustle elsewhere, very private. An easy walks into Fort Cochin town and beach as well. All in all I recommend this home-stay to anyone wondering where to stay in Fort Cochin.”

“I viewed 4 or 5 houses to rent for 6 weeks earlier this year, and Nathan's Holiday Home was the best by far! Tucked away in a quiet side road, yet really convenient for exploring all that Fort Cochin has to offer. Most places of interest, and restaurants, are just a ten minute walk away, with the local shops only 100 yards. It's clean, simply furnished, (yet with some of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in India, and with air con in the bedrooms too) but best of all, has an above average equipped kitchen. It was great to be able to make myself something to drink or eat without having to go out each time. The house has wifi and cable TV, a water filter machine, and even a battery that takes over should there be a power cut. In short, the delightful Mr and Mrs Colbridge have thought of pretty much everything to make this a comfortable place to stay - a private, safe and special space - and are only a phone call away should you need them.”

“We rented the whole of Nathan’s from mid-September to mid-November of
2011. Colbridge, the owner, is very welcoming, honest and helpful, and
he bent over backwards to make us comfortable at Nathan’s (named after
his delightful son). Although he does not live on site, Colbridge was
always readily available when needed. Colbridge is a fluent English
speaker who runs his own web company, and is a great source of
information about local culture.
We were looking for a secure place where we could relax, live in and
learn about the Fort Cochin community, and Nathan’s was ideal. We
could prepare meals, do laundry when needed, surf the ‘Net (wi-fi that
works!) or relax in front of the TV when we needed a day off – it was
like being at home in India.
We can only echo the testimonials by other guests that Nathan’s is
very well located, on a quiet residential lane with nice neighbors,
but within a 10 minutes or less stroll of everything else you might
need. We liked the honest and friendly fruit seller around the corner
on Bishop Rd., and our favorite restaurant, the justifiably famous but
reasonable Dal Roti, is just a short walk away as is the beach
promenade for watching the sunset. An added benefit to the location -
the local auto rickshaw drivers on Bishop Rd. are, for the most part,
more reasonable than the loquacious Ferrari/Porsche types not far away
that live on tourist shop commissions rather than fares. Don’t
hesitate to use the local drivers to go across town to the colorful
Mattancherry district, day or night.
Bottom line – a great place at a reasonable price to relax and
discover Fort Cochin and to use as a base for discovering entrancing
Kerala.”
